We’re currently looking for a talented Account Executive to join our core team to develop strong relationships with qualified clients and convert them into customers.

You will be responsible for

  • Growing our portfolio of clients
    • Execute and optimize sales strategies with prospects in various stages of the customer journey
    • Conduct Discovery Meetings to educate prospects and understand their needs
    • Conduct Product Demos with qualified prospects
    • Book Menu Tastings at prospective client sites across Toronto and the GTA
    • Develop relationships with prospective clients and convert qualified leads into customers
  • New Business Development: Conduct outbound selling and strategic business development activities targeting enterprise-level organizations in our target market.
  • Regularly testing new creative business development, sales, and marketing strategies, and lead generation strategies focussed on enterprise-level organizations.
  • Being a product solutions expert: Represent the KitchenMate brand; develop, deliver, and optimize product positioning and value prop.

You should have

  • Relevant university degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or other related fields.
  • 2+ years experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or marketing.
  • Passion for food, cooking, nutrition, health & wellness, and/or sustainability.
  • A healthy diet and a basic understanding of the food system.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization skills & attention to detail.
  • Track record of exceeding targets.

Bonus, if you have

  • Experience selling or marketing a corporate service (such as vending, office snacks, coffee, or food services) to C-Suite, HR, Office Managers, Facilities, and/or Property Managers.
  • Experience using SaaS tools, such as Salesforce, Outreach, Hubspot, and ZoomInfo.
  • Experience in the food & beverage industry, hospitality, food-tech, consulting, or CPG.
  • Worked at a venture-backed startup.
