The position of Sales Trainee is available in DFW, Houston, Austin, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Tyler, and Longview (additional locations included based on business needs).

Rexel USA’s Accelerated Commercial Experience (ACE) Program is a two-year intensive training and development program that provides graduates a fast-tracked opportunity to gain broad exposure to multiple areas of business within the Electrical Distribution industry. Our internship experience is a snapshot of the ACE program, condensed into a 12-week experience. We accomplished this initiative through a series of diverse assignments, projects, and classroom training. All assignments are a value-add for the business and developmental for the individual. Successful completion should lead to permanent placement in one of several career paths, of which a sales career path is strongly preferred. Other career paths include project management, customer solutions, product specialists, and some functional positions (as needed). Positions open to majors in Industrial Distribution, Sales, Supply Chain, and General Business Administration.

  • Operations
  • Project Management
  • Energy Solutions
  • Automation

  • In addition, preferred candidates are assertive, team players, creative, and mobile. Relevant internship/co-op experience preferred.
  • To be eligible, students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA upon graduation and be open to relocation, as it is required both to complete the program as well as to achieve career success.

Language Skills:

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff to make an accurate assessment of customer needs. Ability to create and make presentations.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to verify and calculate figures such as commissions. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations required to accurately complete assigned tasks.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Ability to use sound judgment and problem solving skills to analyze customer problems and to recommend the proper course of action. Ability to organize and prioritize job projects and requirements.
