Legal student support (40% flexible)

for our Legal/Trademark Team based in Allschwil / Basel, Switzerland.

Core Job Responsibilities
Performing trademark due diligence work supporting TM Counsel and Paralegals
Support TM counsels with the review of standard contracts
First steps in trademark clearance by conducting and evaluating trademark screenings and searches
Handling trademark administrative work
Under the supervision of experienced TM professionals, assist in the daily management of trademark portfolios, including tasks such as:
monitoring and enforcing trademark rights
review of watch notices and first analysis of chances of success
initiating oppositions
preparing/reviewing C&D letters based on existing templates

Working Time
40 % / 16 hours per week

Your Profile
Detail-oriented and organized
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Word)
Interest to gain experience in the legal department of a multinational company
Team player
Education: Currently studying law or comparable subject, with an interest in intellectual property/trademarks
Languages: Excellent knowledge of English
