ABAP Programming Analyst

Petroplan is seeking to hire an ABAP Programming Analyst for one of its clients.

Job Purpose:
Primary purpose of the job is to design, develop and support solution development activities of SAP Technical Services section to deliver and support SAP solutions and projects in alignment with the company’s ICT department vision and strategy.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
  • SAP Certified in at least one of the SAP Development Technologies.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience that includes a minimum of 4 years hands-on experience as SAP ABAP Developer/Analyst with experience in at least 2 full life cycle implementation/support projects as ABAP Developer.
  • Well versed in ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, Debugging, Performance management and ABAP Object Oriented Programming skills.
  • Development of ABAP programs for interfaces, reporting needs, user exits and BADIS.
  • Data Conversion Techniques, ABAP Test Cockpit and SAP Authorization concepts.
  • SAP User Interface development using WebDynpro, FPM, SAPUIS, Fiori & WebIDE.
  • Forms Technology using Smart Forms and Adobe Forms.
  • ABAP development for HANA involving Core Data Services.
  • SAP integration technologies like EDI, ALE, IDOCs and Process Integration.
  • Documenting business requirements and maintaining quality check lists Working knowledge and development experience in at least three of the SAP modules of IS-OIL, HCM, FI-CO, MM, PM, SCM, EHS, PS, BW and FM.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Operate independently using mature judgment in planning and performing assignments and achieving defined objectives.
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively liaise with a multi-cultural and multi-national workforce.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to communicate concepts as appropriate to customers, contractors, and staff.
  • Excellent team player who can quickly adapt to the basic comapny’s Values viz; integrity, excellence, safety, responsibility, respect and collaboration.
