VOTRE POSTE ET VOS RESPONSABILITÉS

In coordination with the Regional Logistics Referent, the Regional Logistic Expert participates in ensuring donors / internal procedure compliance and performance of logistics sector in the Region.
– Participate in ensuring the logistical compliance of the missions – Ensure the validation of purchasing files (in accordance with the rules of delegation of responsibility of the RLR)
– Ensure the screening of suppliers selected by the missions
– Carry out logistics compliance audits, using ACF tools and / or by developing specific tools (remotely or during a field visit)
– Carry out diagnostic missions for logistics processes to strengthen team compliance and performance

– Provide technical and logistical support to field and pool teams. – Support in implementing of the logistics strategies of the missions. If necessary, propose adjustments and improvements
– Based on the needs expressed by the countries and / or the logistics team at regional level, provide field or remote support

– Produce analyzes of the performance and capitalize on them (written reporting). – Contribute to the capitalization of good logistics practices, document them and ensure its dissemination
– Contribute to propositions to improve logistics systems (tools, procedures, flows, etc.)
– Propose and formalize logistics recommendations and action plans for missions to the Regional Logistics Referent. If necessary, ensure their implementation and follow-up

– Supervise the field logistics team (functional and / or hierarchical) depending on assignments
– Participate in the development of the logistics sector – Contribute to the mobility of employees in the logistics sector in coordination with the CRM and RLR of the logistics sector (mobility meeting, recruitment forums, school intervention, etc.)
– Provide briefing and debriefing for employees of the logistics sector

VOTRE PROFIL

Coming from a technical and/or university training related to the logistics professions, you have significant experience of 2 years in a coordination position in humanitarian logistics or equivalent in the field and/or within a international NGO.
You also demonstrate expertise in various emergency contexts (conflicts and/or natural disasters) and you have set up or monitored humanitarian and development projects.
Rigorous, organized and attentive, you have good interpersonal skills, particularly in remote exchanges for teamwork. Several short-term trips abroad are to be expected.
Fluent in English is mandatory.

VOS CONDITIONS D’EMPLOI

– 6 months fixed term contract under French legislation
– Monthly gross salary from 2450 to 2800EUR upon experience
– Cold allowance: Reimbursement of purchase of winter equipment to a maximum of 380EUR per person per year in severe cold contexts
– Child allowance: 1500EUR per year per child present in the country of origin (maximum 6000EUR/year)
– 16% of the gross monthly salary for pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens
– 15% of the gross salary for specific flying allowance
– Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
– Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions (social security + health insurance) and repatriation insurance
– Leaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year and 215 EUR at each RnR period
