A PSYCHOLOGIST – MHPSS COORDINATOR

Created in 1979, Action contre la Faim is a non-governmental organization that fights against hunger. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of under-nutrition, particularly during and after emergency situations linked to conflicts or natural disasters. RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the responsibility of Deputy Country Director Program your will be in charge of successfully expanding Action Contre la Faim’s footprint in the MHPSS sector in Myanmar.
Your main responsibilities are:
– To follow up mission MHPSS strategy in collaboration with DCD-P, MHPSS teams and HoDs
– Develop a workplan to implement the MHPSS country strategy.
– To contribute to developing proposals and concept notes for MHPSS programs, to fundraising activities and review donor reports with other HoDs
– To provide technical support and ensure capacity building of PMs in the technical implementation of the programs
– To work with the HQ MHPSS Advisor to identify gaps and areas for development and with the PM and field teams, to develop and implement a plan of action adapted to the context

REQUESTED PROFILE

– You hold a clinical psychology master degree.
– You have at least two years of field experience with NGOs at coordination level.
– You demonstrate good skills on supervision also with remote management and capacity building / system strengthening.
– You have excellent skills in representation, writing proposals.
– You demonstrate excellent diplomacy, communication, and organizational skills.
– Fluency in English written/spoken is compulsory.

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY

– Monthly gross salary from 2450EUR to 2800EUR upon experience
– Per diem and living allowance: 458 Euros net, field paid
– Monthly country allowance: 150 Euros
– 16% of monthly gross salary as reimbursement of retirement insurance for non-French citizen
– Child allowance, 1500EUR/year/child (capped to 6000EUR)
– Coverage of transportation costs to and in the mission
– 100% coverage of health contributions (social security + private insurance) and repatriation insurance
– 25 days of paid leaves per year
– 20 RnR per year. + 215 EUR at each RnR period
