RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main objective is to provide technical support to ACF project staff on nutrition and health programme planning, implementation, and coordination.
More specifically, your responsabilities will be to:
– Create SOPs, ToTs, and roll them out towards ACF and MoH staff
– Organize, conduct/support evaluations, of surveys, or rapid assessments followed by giving and implementing recommendations
– Monitor and coordinate programmes in the field of nutrition & health; support program manager in the setting-up of field-level tools for monitoring activities, ensure drugs, nutritional product and medical supply availability, distribution and dispensation according to SoP, …
– Provide technical trainings and support to the nutrition & health programme teams
– Represent Action Contre la Faim and its positioning in the field of nutrition and health and with governmental and local or international agencies

REQUESTED PROFILE

You have a Master’s degree in a field related to Health (Medical doctor, Nurse, or similar field) and you have strong technical (comprehencive PHC including EPI, and Pharmacy management), program management, and capacity-building skills.
Guideline and policy development have no secrets for you.
You also have a solid experience in assessments and surveys, including the development of methodology and tools.
At least 3 years of international humanitarian experience, ideally in Yemen or in emergency contexes, with the supervision and management of a multi-disciplinary team in a multi-cultural environment is required.
Fluent English (both written and verbal) is required. Arabic is a plus.

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY

– 6 months fixed term contract under French legislation
– Monthly gross salary from 2010 to 2335EUR upon experience
– Monthly per diem and living allowance: 728 USD net, field paid
– Monthly country allowance: 450EUR
– 16% of the gross monthly salary for pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens
– Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
– Medical coverage: 100% coverage of medical expenses and repatriation insurance
– Leaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year and 215 EUR at each RnR period
