RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main responsibility is to contribute to the establishment and monitoring of the nutrition and health programmes in partnership with governmental and non-governmental agencies; together with the actors concerned, strengthen initiatives of Chernivtsi’ Department of Health, through logistical support of facilities (electricity, rent, etc.), medicines, staff reinforcement, and support for referrals to secondary facilities.
More precisely, you will be in charge of:
– Facilitating the development of work by the partner agencies to address malnutrition
– Establish training and skills development for the teams in partner organisations
– Accompany the partners in the development and management of their activities
– Represent ACF and develop local partnerships
– Manage and train the ACF programme teams; direct supervision of the deputy nutrition and health programme managers

REQUESTED PROFILE

You hold a degree in nursing, or general medicine, with two years or more of professional experience in a similar programme management role, with at least a year of experience in an emergency context and demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring projects’ interventions.
Furthermore, you have a confirmed experience in management and personnel capacity building.
You have demonstrated negotiation, communication, analytical, synthesis, and writing skills.
A former ACF experience, and/or an understanding of the Ukraine context, will be considered as assets for this position.
Fluency in English (both written and spoken skills) and Fluency in Ukrainian is preferred.

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY

– 6 months fixed term contract
– Salary in accordance to ACF’ Compensation & Benefits policy
