RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director for Programs (DCD-P), you will lead the tactical elements of fundraising, donor relations and project cycle management and programme coordination for Action Against Hunger’s programmes in Ukraine, in conformity with Action Against Hunger and international standards and national policies.
More precisely, you will :
– Support DCD-P to finalise and roll-out country programme strategy
– Provide capacity-building support to field teams to roll out project management tools
– Lead grant opening, follow-up, and closing meetings

REQUESTED PROFILE

– You hold a Bachelor degree in humanitarian aid, international relations, or related fields.You have at least 3 years of experience in humanitarian and/or development fundraising from institutional donors (in a fundraising or related NGO role) and at least 1 year of field-based experience in the same or similar positions required.
– A Working experience in conflict-affected settings is also needed.
– You have a good knowledge of common institutional donor guidelines and regulations (EU, BHA, pooled funds and private foundations), an experience with proposal and log frame development for a variety of donors.
– Familiarity with key programme areas is desirable (Mental Health, WaSH, Food Security and Livelihoods including cash).
– Fluency written and spoken English is required.
– In addition, a HEAT training or similar in the past 2 years is mandatory.
You have good organization skills, and have the ability to prioritize your tasks in the most efficient manner
You appreciate the importance of being service-minded in your support to the field, you are also persistent in your commitment to strengthen quality, ensure compliance and manage risks.

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY

– 6 months fixed term contract under French legislation
– Monthly gross salary from 2450 to 2800EUR upon experience
– Monthly per diem and living allowance: 274EUR + 412EUR net, field paid
– Monthly country allowance: 300EUR
– Child allowance: 1500EUR per year per child present in the country of origin (maximum 6000EUR/year)
– 16% of the gross monthly salary for pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens
– 15% of the gross salary for specific flying allowance
– Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
– Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions (social security + health insurance) and repatriation insurance
– Leaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year and 215 EUR at each RnR period
