A FOOD SECURITY AND LIVELIHOOD HEAD OF DEPARTMENT

Créée en 1979, Action contre la Faim est une organisation non gouvernementale internationale qui lutte contre la faim dans le monde. Sa charte des principes humanitaires – indépendance, neutralité, non-discrimination, accès libre et direct aux victimes, professionnalisme, transparence – fonde son identité depuis plus de 40 ans. Sa mission est de sauver des vies en éliminant la faim par la prévention, la détection et le traitement de la sous-nutrition, en particulier pendant et après les situations d’urgence liées aux conflits et aux catastrophes naturelles. Action contre la Faim coordonne ses programmes autour de 5 domaines d’activités : Nutrition et Santé – Santé Mentale, Soutien Psychosocial et Protection – Sécurité Alimentaire et Moyens d’Existence – Eau, Assainissement et Hygiène – Plaidoyer. VOTRE POSTE ET VOS RESPONSABILITÉS

You will be responsible for guaranteeing the quality, relevance and scaling of the Food Security Livelihoods (FSL) strategy and interventions at the mission.
Your mission will be:

– Develop and finalize the FSL strategy
– Contribute to business development and proposal writing
– Ensure quality standards of intervention
– Support the 2 FSL Program Manager to manage their projects
– Participate actively to the external coodination (clsuter, working group) and internal coordination of the country office

VOTRE PROFIL

You hold a Master’s Degree in Economics, Agriculture, Public Health, International Development or related field. You have at least 5 years of work experience in the FSL strategy in the humanitarian sector.
You are energitic, proactive and dynamic and you have good managerial and communication skills.
You are fluent in portuguese.
