RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Country Director, your mission will be to support the Yemen mission transitioning towards the new shared cost methodology (about ten projects and a budget of 7-9 million euros for 2023). The focus is on finance and will cover all stages of the preparatory work.
More specifically, your responsabilities will be to :
Create the new financial plan for 2023
– Check and correct the correspondence with the new nomenclature of financial lines
– Create the mission’s financing plan with the new methodology in collaboration with the relevant departments
– Optimize donor budgets in compliance with donor rules
– Determine the need for ACF’s own funds
Update others financial tools
– Update the BFU with the new financial lines. Ensure consistency with financing plan and SAGA parameters – financial line wise
– Update SAGA parameters
Communication on the challenges
– Inform the Country Director and the Head of Finance Department on the challenges at each stage of the preparation
– Provide clear recommendations on the follow-up work to be done to anticipate a good handover of the tool

REQUESTED PROFILE

You hold a Master 2 or business school or university degree in finance and management.
You have at least 3 years of professional experience in financial management in an NGO, including at least one year in the field as a coordinator with an NGO. Very good communicator, you enjoy teamwork. You are results oriented and pragmatic. You have a strong appetite for numbers and various IT tools. Work experience with Saga software is a big asset but above all you are proficient in Excel.
You are fluent in English both orally and in writing.

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY

– 3 months fixed term contract under French legislation
– Monthly gross salary from 2450 to 2800EUR upon experience
– Monthly per diem and living allowance: 728 USD net, field paid
– Monthly country allowance : 450EUR
– 16% of the gross monthly salary for pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens
– Transportation and accommodation : Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
– Medical coverage : 100% coverage of medical expenses and repatriation insurance
– Leaves and RnR : 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year and 215 EUR at each RnR period
