VOTRE POSTE ET VOS RESPONSABILITÉS

As Field Coordinator for Kharkiv, you will be under the supervision of the Area Coordinator and you will provide leadership at field base level in order to deliver a quality and timely emergency response to events as assigned. You will be responsible for :
– Provide Leadership and/or Set-up and Support to Emergency operational and Program Implementation by supervising and monitoring the program implementation, supporting new project development, ensuring the strong collaboration between technical and support services, ensuring that all internal reporting mechanisms (Sitrep, APR, logistics…) are in place and of a good quality and providing the supervision and management to ensure reports are good quality and submitted on a timely manner.
– Team Management : recruitment of direct reports as appropriate, boarding system for new field staff, ensure team objectives, safe working conditions and capacity building
– Internal and External Coordination : communicate regularly with the area coordination team and request support, participate at different forums at field level to ensure representation and coordination of ACF with others stakeholders and participate or lead in the identification of potential local partners and/or coordinate programme set up and implementation with them
– Security and Safety Management : leads or participates in context security assessment and help define security protocols as required, ensure context follow-up and update security protocols as necessary and manage incidents

VOTRE PROFIL

You have a degree in political science, international relations, project management or humanitarian field with a significant experience as Field Coordinator/Head of base within an NGO, operating in complex and volatile security contexts (Yemen, Irak, Syria…). If you have a former experience in opening base, it is a plus. You have an experience in humanitarian project management in emergency context and a strong experience/knowledge of security and access management and are able to operate in a stressful environment. You are autonomous in your work, you are able to identify possible hurdles and come up with innovative solutions. Moreover, you have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to listen, support and communicate effectively with your teams. You have a positive mindset, you know how to be flexible and can encourage your teams towards their objectives.
You are fluent in English, a second language as Russian or Ukrainian is a plus.

VOS CONDITIONS D’EMPLOI

– 6 months fixed term contract under French legislation
– Monthly gross salary from 2450EUR to 2800EUR upon experience
– Monthly per diem and living allowance: 686EUR net, field paid
– Monthly country allowance: 450EUR
– Child allowance: 1500EUR per year per child present in the country of origin (maximum 6000EUR/year)
– 16% of the gross monthly salary for pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens
– Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
– Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions (social security + health insurance) and repatriation insurance
– Leaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year and 215 EUR at each RnR period
