Créée en 1979, Action contre la Faim est une organisation non gouvernementale internationale qui lutte contre la faim dans le monde. MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direct responsibility of the Area Coordinator Dnipro, your main objective is to ensure the overall implementation of the projects within the area, coordinating the activities and building the capacity of program managers to identify and implement high quality program activities in an accountable manner, while respecting donor requirements and ACF mission strategy. You will be leading a team of program managers and will support them in delivering the assistance needed in your area of intervention.
Your main areas of responsibility include the following:
– With the Area Coordinator, identify sectoral needs, to design program strategy and operational development
– Support and coordinate the program managers to ensure the implementation, monitoring and reporting of projects
– Support the program managers to contribute to program quality and accountability processes and measure program impact
– As direct manager, listen, delegate, support and build capacity of the program managers and participate to recruiting activities
– Together with the Area Coordinator, contribute to the coordination and representation of ACF in your area of intervention
– Lead on identifying and developing strong relationships with new and existing partners

PROFILE

– You have a bachelor degree in humanitarian aid, international relations, or any other related fields
– You have a strong experience in leading humanitarian projects in INGOs
– You have excellent capacity-building skills
– You have work experience in conflict-affected settings
– You are competent in budget management
– You have excellent people managment skills, you are able to federate your teams towards common objectives
– You are also an excellent communicator, you listen actively, and are able to build strong relationships internally and externally
– You have good writing and reporting skills
– You are organised in your tasks, and are able to prioritise in particular if the workload becomes heavy
– You are autonomous and self-motivated, and can take appropriate decisions under pressure
– You are fluent in English
– You ideally can speak Ukrainian or Russian (not mandatory)

VOS CONDITIONS D’EMPLOI

– 6 months fixed term contract under French legislation
– Monthly gross salary from 2450 to 2800EUR upon experience
– Monthly per diem and living allowance: 412EUR and 274EUR net, field paid
– Monthly country allowance: 450EUR
– Child allowance: 1500EUR per year per child present in the country of origin (maximum 6000EUR/year)
– 16% of the gross monthly salary for pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens
– Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
– Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions (social security + health insurance) and repatriation insurance
– Leaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year and 215 EUR at each RnR period
