What you will be doing.

Interns will work within a team on engineering and consultancy assignments for a range of offshore wind farm projects (fixed and/or floating). Their work will include providing analysis and advice relating to, but not limited to, Project Development and Site Prospecting, Owner’s Engineer technical advisory, Technical Due Diligence, and Project Cost Modelling.

We’re looking forward to hiring 3 interns who’ll be working from one of our offices in London/Brighton/ Glasgow.

What we are looking for.

  • Proficiency in the use of MS office package.
  • Excellent English communication skills and excellent report-writing skills.
  • Ability to coordinate projects and work under own initiative with minimum supervision.
  • Good knowledge of engineering principles and ability to apply in an industry context.
  • Ability to correctly select and apply standards, guides, methods, and techniques with support from senior members.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team player with a proactive approach.
  • Outgoing and pragmatic with the strength of character.
  • Attention to detail and high level of numerical accuracy and the ability to prioritise work.
  • Well organised, self-directed & insightful.

What is in it for you?

Standard working hours, 40 hours per week, with 8 hours per day. The expected duration of the internship is a minimum of 8 weeks however we can also offer 12 weeks depending on the team you are placed in and your availability. We do not require a security clearance. The company is very sociable, with our London office hosting regular socials ranging from cocktail-making classes to pre-work breakfast socials. We’re a young company with lots of graduates and young consultants.

The fixed-term employment contract will be offered, and a national living wage will be paid. Interns will be covered by the company’s insurance from day 1 of their joining.
