ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The Reynolds scientific research and development (SRD) team is seeking interns for 2023. As an SR&D Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, exciting working environment. You will be assigned a challenging research project with a focus on clinical study project execution, requiring creative thinking, problem solving, and teamwork as you interact with other personnel throughout our winning organization. This role engages in planning conduct and interpretation of data from studies performed in human subjects to support pre-market or modified risk product submissions and post market surveillance activities of the business.

In addition, you will have fun while adding value and encountering outstanding career development support. This role is for a summer internship across the span of 10 weeks and will conclude by mid-August.

What You Will Be Accountable For

  • Actively lead a project(s) based work designed around one or more of the following accountabilities
    • New Service Vendor Identification/Selection Process (new design, new measured endpoints)
    • Conduct of Clinical Studies involving Human Subjects – Process Optimization
    • Budget Mapping for Clinical Projects/Studies
    • Protocol/Study Design Alignment
    • Quality Improvement – Retrospective Study Review Process (regulatory Compliance, documentation, lessons learned)
  • Collaborate with teams in one of the following disciplines Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Submissions, or Regulatory Science
  • Demonstrate proficient project management, time management, and team collaboration skills
  • Present findings and insights to the Leadership Team at the completion of your project.

Essential Experience, Skills And Knowledge

  • Background secondary educational training in biology, chemistry, toxicology, pharmacy, public health, clinical research, project management or related discipline
  • A student who is working toward a BA or BS degree with complete coursework in one of the above -described disciplines
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong analytical skills with a view towards modeling trends and data analytics
  • Displays excellent interpersonal skills
  • Has superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Project Management skills

Salary And Benefits Overview

Wage Information

Hourly Rate Undergraduate Rate $21.00 per hour / Graduate Rate $38.50 per hour
