Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in writing procedures and/or work instructions for Production.
- Assist in the development and/or improvement of products and manufacturing equipment.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to support of production.
- Assist in the corrective action request, material disposition request or similar processes.
- Support senior manufacturing engineers and project managers in information and data collection.
- Implement assigned project improvements to production and develop sustainable training plan.
- Provide periodic updates on project assignments to manufacturing engineering manager.
- Create in powerpoint and present internship accomplishments at the end of the summer.
Skills
Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
The ability to troubleshoot problems.
Ability to multi-task in support of end-result/goal.
Hands-on mechanical aptitude.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
- Fluent with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, word-processing and database management.
- Strong prioritization, planning and reporting skills.
- Soft skills.
