Chemical Engineer Intern/Co-Op

Successful Completion Of Projects Related To Process And Product Quality Improvements, Quality Resolution Of Production Problems, Trials And Reliability Improvement – Typical Projects May Include

• Improving operational efficiencies of mill equipment and processes
• Mill trials of new equipment and chemicals
• Investigating abnormal mill operating issues
• Profit, productivity and quality improvements
• Equipment reliability and maintenance improvements
• Environmental, health and safety initiatives
• Training material and procedure development
• Process troubleshooting
• Special projects and other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Pursuing B.S. in Chemical or Pulp & Paper Science Engineering
• Completion of sophomore level course work in Engineering or related degree program
• Basic knowledge of Windows 7 / 10, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Must show competency in PI, SAP, Excel PI add-In, Excel, Minitab
