Job Description
Position responsibilities and specific projects to be assigned:
- Assist on SOX404 projects: updating process descriptions & process walkthroughs, & performing transactional testing.
- Assist on audit related projects during audit planning and fieldwork phases of the audit
- Learning Internal Audit-based procedures and assisting Audit Managers with compiling/completing testing documentation and corrective action plan tracking
Skill set and/or prior experience:
- A graduate or undergraduate student currently enrolled in school with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, or Management Information Systems
- Capability of working on multiple projects and a solid written and verbal communication
- Sound judgment, integrity, decision making skills and a strong sense of personal ethics
- Working knowledge of both capital markets products and accounting for financial products is a plus
- Prior experience in financial services, accounting or auditing is preferred
