Mechanical Engineering Intern
Job Purpose
In this role, the Mechanical Engineering Intern will participate in the product development process by providing support to mechanical engineers, including developing and executing board level tests, component evaluations, board debug and other miscellaneous support functions.
Nature Of Duties
- Generate component and assembly drawings
- Thermal testing
- Shock and vibe testing
- Acoustic testing
- Packaging design
- Assemble prototypes
Education And Experience
- Complete three semesters toward a degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent – prefer some coursework in thermal dynamics, fluid dynamics
- Good communication skills to interact with other team member
- Solidworks experience is plus
Salary range: $34320 – 35360
