Pacific Seafood offers a unique, 12-week internship program that gives interns the chance to make an immediate impact on our company. Starting with a structured orientation week at our corporate headquarters near Portland, Ore, you’ll be able to meet the team and learn the full scope of our business. Throughout the summer months, you’ll dive deep into a meaningful project for our company, which you’ll then present to our executive leadership team at the end of your internship. This internship will have the unique opportunity to work with our team in Mukilteo, WA to develop a preventive maintenance plan for key equipment at the facility. You will also support the team by collaborating with manufacturers and suppliers to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for under-utilized equipment and machinery. By the end of the internship, you will have gained experience and understanding of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration technologies used at a distribution center.

Salary: $18 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and Teamwork) at all times
  • Collect details, document, and implement a Preventative Maintenance plan for the facility
  • Create SOPs – collaborate with manufactures and suppliers
  • Learn about, evaluate, and improve our current use of technologies and systems
  • Prepare project overview and present findings to executive leadership.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Required

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood

  • Pursuit of an Engineering or related undergraduate/graduate degree
  • Strong Computer skills in MS Office Suite
  • Experience or exposure to CMMS Software

Preferred

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Targeted graduation of June 2023 or earlier
