Stores & Warehouse Apprentice

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and hard working individual, who is keen to learn and development within our Stores and Warehouse department.

The successful applicant would be assisting with the control, issue and booking in of all items into the store facilities by ensuring our systems are updated with the correct locations. Administer the required processes for customer and asset items, and ensuring they include all the required details as defined by the customer. Assist in the setup of items for storing assets and Proserv related owned equipment as required.

There would also be a required support with administration and practical counting for cycle counts, and support departments as necessary with transport and dispatch paperwork.

What We’re Looking For

• Assist with the timely receiving of all purchase orders, including stock items, consumables and 3rd Party services.
• Booking in customer owned equipment in to AX and tagging them as per Proserv procedures.
• Assist with the processing and tagging of returning Proserv owned rental assets. Moving items to correct locations as per Proserv QC Goods in Procedures.
• Participate in periodic cycle counts, ensuring schedule is kept and learn the importance of keeping stock accurate.
• Pick items from stock for sales orders, work orders and projects for internal personnel and external customers.
• Ensure levels of house-keeping are kept to a high standard. Keeping all tooling, storage areas, desks and work benches tidy. Follow and champion 6S policies.
• Preparing goods for shipping, ensuring all goods are packed in a way that will not cause damage to them or other goods within the shipment.
• Assist in the management of the Bar Store, ensuring all items are marked, labelled and stored correctly. Ensure all material cut is done so accurately and recorded in AX.
• Assist drivers with loading and unloading of goods.
• Answering the stores buzzer for external deliveries.
• Any other duties as deemed necessary by the Stores Supervisor.
