Job Description
This position is part of Keysight’s Networks and Data Centers Solutions Group in Boeblingen / Germany. We are developing and manufacturing measurement solutions for chip and equipment manufacturers in the areas of high-speed communications, data centers, and computers.
We are seeking a student within or on the way to a University Master’s degree already having completed a bachelor of science with experience in digital communications, fiber optics, integrated photonics, and automation.
The focus of this internship will be on automation software for repetitive measurement routines. You will have access to the highest performance test equipment beyond 100GHz for in-depth characterization of new photonic innovations (e.g. Oscilloscopes, Lightwave component analyzers, Network Analyzers, Tunable Lasers, Digital communication scopes)
Job Qualifications
- Completed study of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Optics and Photonics or Physics
- Knowledge of test automation (LabView, Python, Keysight VEE, Keysight PathWave)
- Experience with Matlab
- Knowledge about data transmission technologies
- Self-motivated and prepared to dig into new and challenging problems
- Good Communication and English skills
- Experience on fiber-optic measurement and/or data transmission experiment
- Experience with digital signal processing
