Responsibilities

This permanent call aims to everyone with specializations in the following disciplines: chemistry, business chemistry, biological chemistry, sustainability, physics, biology, biotechnology, bioinformatics, pharmacology or related subjects. Depending on your studies, your skills and your personal goals, we offer opportunities in various departments of our centralized research organization.

• You can join our research, development & innovation team for an internship or a student thesis at any of our German R&D sites.
• If you want to work on the development of innovative technologies and methods to produce specialty chemicals or offer services to our customers, you will be right in our operative or strategic research. Our innovation projects contribute to our business and especially our sustainability efforts. You will support the R&D efforts of our scientists by supporting their work and independently organize and execute scientific experiments (wet and dry labs).
• If you are looking for experience beyond our laboratories, our Venture Capital office, Foresight team and additional functions offer valuable insights. You will support our colleagues by performing market, literature and trend studies, scenario analysis and organizing workshops.

Requirements

• Immatriculated student status with outstanding academic results
• Ideally, you gained first intercultural experience
• Curiosity and willingness to learn in an industrial R&D environment
• First practical experience in your fields of interest is beneficial
• Quick comprehension, proactive and result-oriented approach
• Strong communication and cooperation skills
• Very good written and spoken English language skills
