HVAC – Apprentice

Are you an experienced HVAC Apprentice looking to grow in your trade? We have an exciting opportunity for an HVAC Apprentice who who can assist with installation, repair, and maintenance on a variety of package and central heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Other duties include preventative maintenance; servicing, overhauling, and maintaining package units; and determining equipment needs. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? HVAC qualification required Current knowledge of HVAC maintenance Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work without close supervision and within established timeframes A pro-active and strong work ethic A passion for managing a variety of projects and tasks throughout the day

Note – Pay rate for this job is$21 / hour

Responsibilities

• Maintain the air conditioning/heating and refrigeration systems
• Assist with the repair and renovate HVAC equipment
• Diagnose and repair constant and variable speed air
• Proper maintenance and cleanliness of tools, equipment
• Work Daily climbing of stairs, ladders to reach A/C units
• Continuous listening to units to identifying problems in
• Continuous reaching, bending, stooping, to access equipment to make repairs or read gauges EPA 608 a plus but not required

Qualifications

• Familiar with mechanical, conservation, fuel gas codes and Computer skills
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, drawings, control HVAC/BAS experience and technical training in the HVAC field
• Must take sexual harassment training online and pass a background
