Nuclear Fuel Services (NFS), a Division Of BWX Technologies, Inc, Is Seeking Engineering Interns With The Responsibility For Providing Engineering/technical Support To The Integrated Safety Analysis Functions Including

  • Support Safety Engineers and Analysts in providing safety analysis support (radiological or chemical) for the preparation, review and/or recommendatino for approval of safety analysis documents associated with design, construction, startup, and operation of enriched uranium processing and support operations. Participate in team evaluations and support preparation of safety basis documentation for new and/or modified plant processes, systems and components, including items relied on for safety (IROFS) and safety related equipment (SRE).

Requirements

Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering or Nuclear Engineering.

Requires U.S. Citizenship with (no dual citizenship).

Requires ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance which involves an extensive criminal and financial background investigation and previous employment reference verifications.
