None required
Experince
No specfic experince is required. Lutheran Health Network will provide a formalized traing class; sucessful completion is required in order to continue employment. Additional orientation specific to unit responsibilities may also be provided.
Education
Graduation from Nursing Program in good standing. Transcripts of calssed must be submitted. Must successfully pass boards within 120 days (4 months) from graduation date.
No individual patient assigment will be given until passing of RN board exam and RN license is obtained.
Paticipation in educational classes such as introduction to EKG, Nurisng Orientation, Pharmacy Educaiton, etc., appropriate to the patient population.
Must successfully complete the entity’s Medication Proficency Tes (85% or above score)
Registation / Certification
CPR ( Cardio- Pulmonary Resuscitation ) Certification with three (3) moths of hire.
Job Knowledge & Skills
- Demonstates working knowledge of the English language, verbal and witten.
- Demonstrates a basic knowledge and understanding of nurisng practice, procedure, techniques equipmen and applicable regulations.
- Requires and understanding of basic EKG rhyms (per area of assigment)
- Require organiztional skills and basic knowledge of office operations
- require a basic understanding of the related behaviors, needs and comfort appropriate to the age (including neonate, child adolescent, aging adult) and diagnosis of patient served in order to support the provision of an individualized interdisciplinary plan of care.
- Demonstrates will developed interpersonal and communication skills necessary to establish and maintain postive therapeutic/working relationship with all internal and external customers, as needed.
