Role Purpose
The Data Engineer intern will be responsible for supports different strategic projects related to data, support BAU operations and analyse business information at Chubb.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attention to the different lines of business, consolidate and deliver a reliable and unique source of information.
- Analyses business information and design product features in collaboration with product owners, report developers, product analysts, architects, and business partners based on Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Being part of the team to design and implement data platforms for large-scale, high-performance, and scalable requirements, integrating data from various data sources, managing structured and unstructured data while merging existing storage structures.
Requirements
Work Experience
- Last semesters of the University
- Average college GPA > 85 over 100
- Students from Computer Systems, Informatics, Data Science, Actuary, Physics or similar. Not Business Schools.
- Good understanding of technology and industry and able to make decisions on the best technology for integrated solutions
- Knowledge of Python, SQL, Spark.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent ability to apply technical expertise, special knowledge, maturity, and judgment to business issues and, as a result, improve Chubb and/or team performance.
- Intermediate English, advanced is a plus.
