Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, we’re looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join our team remotely located in South Korea.

About the role

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Development you’ll be responsible for:

  • Identifying and referring new project opportunities in a lead generation capacity to the Australian team, predominantly from new clients;
  • Working closely with the Corporate Development team to meet and exceed sales targets and acquire new business;
  • Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of the clinical research ecosystem in Australia and the Asia Pacific region;
  • Identify, build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Attend client meetings and participate on client calls as needed;
  • Support the Corporate Development team in business development activities and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Does this sound like you?

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as medical/science/nursing is preferred. Qualification in business management is desirable;
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience working within a sales role within a CRO;
  • Proven inside sales experience;
  • Working knowledge of the clinical research industry in Australia and/or South Korea;
  • Demonstrated excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information to a diverse audience.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills;
  • Experience working with Sales Force is desirable or a similar CRM.
