Business Overview of BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking – Energy, Resources & Infrastructure
Energy, Resources and Infrastructure (ERI) is a worldwide team dedicated to serve our clients in specific sectors, leveraging on a deep knowledge of the underlying fundamentals, understanding of the regulatory framework and with high structuring capabilities.
ERI team is based in Milan and composed of 9 professionals in charge of the origination and execution of debt advisory and arranging mandates, as well as follow-up of the transactions after closing. The team has an important sectorial knowledge and is focusing on:
- Power (mainly renewables, such as Wind farms and Solar plants for the new transactions, as well as hydroelectric and conventional power in portfolio);
- Infrastructure (Concession-based companies in the gas and water sectors, waste-to-energy, airports, transportation, etc.).
Primary Responsibilities
Depending on the operations under way and each intern’s progression, tasks will include:
- Financial analysis, including creating and manipulating complex financial models
- Analysing the risks affecting major projects
- Reviewing due diligence
- Undertaking industry research
- Preparing pitch books and other marketing materials
- Assisting in the preparation of credit proposals
- Monitoring existing loans
What we expect from you
- Education: Master degree in Economics; Master degree in Management Engineering (Specialization in Finance).
- Behavioral skills: Strong analytical and technical skills. Rigorous, autonomous, willing to learn and entrepreneurial. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical skills: Fluent English and Italian (written and spoken). Is desirable a good knowledge in good knowledge in financial modelling and accounting. Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Past internship experience in Investment Banking could be a plus.
Contract type and Remuneration
The offer will be a full time 6-months internship and it’s dedicated to all students or recent graduates (twelve or less months after graduation).
The Company provide a monthly monetary contribution.
