Position Summary
As part of our Mobile Strategy & Analytics Team, the Data Science intern provides data munging support, manipulates large datasets, build advanced predictive models and is an expert in R, Python and Tableau. This role will help the organization to turn Market and Business data into actionable insights.
Role and Responsibilities
– Experience with software development (R, Python), data wrangling / munging (SQL), data analytics workflows (Jupyter notebook), machine learning, and data visualization (Tableau).
– Coursework in machine learning (supervised and unsupervised), mathematics, statistics, computer applications, software engineering and networking.
– Ability to query data sources directly using SQL like query languages from data warehouse.
– Business vision and ability to support strategy and business teams.
– Passion for developing efficient, testable and scalable analytics algorithms.
– Ability to contribute to machine learning modeling and design and develop advanced prototypes. Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications:
– Pursuing B.S. degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related discipline with solid academic background.
