Intern

We are currently seeking a Spring Intern to play a key role for our Cost Segregation Practice at The Bonadio Group. This role requires the ability to continually learn and use new skills, and to work in a high-paced, changeable client-service environment. The intern must work in-person in our Buffalo, NY office and be available January-April 2023.

Responsibilities

• Reading and understanding project specifications and project manuals
• Skillfully working with various computer spreadsheet and estimating software programs, as well as electronic estimating equipment
• Generation of computer reports including incorporation of costs details, references, and summaries of technical construction data
• Understanding depreciation schedules as they relate to the cost segregation process
• Receive and review asset costs and study requirements with managers and staff
• Input project information and quantities into cost estimate reports
• Accommodate busy season demands during January through April
• Learn applicable regulations defined in the IRS Audit Techniques Guide
• Acquire the skills needed to complete reports

Qualifications

Required:

• Enrollment in 4 year college program with satisfactory progress
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Dependable

Hours of operation:

• Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Our summer hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to noon on Friday.
