NAPA Columbus is seeking a Full-Time DC-Sales Intern. This person will support the Sales Manager to achieve maximum market penetration, drive market growth, increase sale and profitability by creating a superior customer experience and a culture of employee engagement.  This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in Sales and to develop a clear understanding of the DC Sales Manager role in the organization. To be a successful Sales Intern you will need to be willing to roll up your sleeves, multitask in a fast-paced environment and the possess to ability to adjust to priority changes with strict deadlines. Our 11-week summer internship program will be in-person and run from May 22, 2022 – Fri, Aug 4, 2022. The Sales Intern will focus primarily on project work involving sales growth, establishing relationships, data analytics to drive sales, safety control measures and the support of several key sales initiatives.Â

Work Hours: Â Full-Time, 40 hours per week during our standard operating hours

What you’ll be doing:

  • 50% project work, 20% sales growth, 30% relationship building
  • Assist with projects to help drive sales culture
  • Assist with driving sales, profit and new distribution
  • Work on projects to develop, implement and drive sales initiatives related to improving distribution
  • Manage and communicate via email and maintain electronic notes
  • Assist with multiple ad hoc projects
  • Learn to build customer relationship with business owners/account decision makers
  • Assist with identifying sales opportunities and help with gaining new customers, prospects and revenue opportunities for the territory and implement initiatives to achieve.
  • Learn how to execute and administer sales plans and metrics, monitor results against plans, and enhance results through adjustments to business/sales plans.

What you’ll need:Â

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program – Business Management, Operation Management, related fields, and Liberal Arts Programs
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Strong Communicator
  • Self-driven
  • Analytical skills
  • Can-do attitude, strong attention to detail, and work will with others
  • Adapt to fast pace
  • Customer service oriented
  • Rising junior or senior preferred
  • MS Office application skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
