What You Will Do

The Guidehouse Internship Program staffs interns on real world projects, showcases the Guidehouse culture, and provides Interns with a meaningful consulting experience. Interns work with teams and provide real-time deliverables in support of the clients. Each Intern is paired with a Buddy to serve as a resource that can assist them in navigating their Guidehouse experience.

Highlights Of Our Internship Program Include

  • 10-week experience in the Summer of 2023 (Anticipated to start Monday, June 5th and run until Friday, August 11th)

The Global Resource Management (RM) team is a critical operations partner to the client service delivery segments at Guidehouse, enabling outstanding client service, revenue generation and a compelling employee experience. The team manages enterprise-wide efforts to deliver high quality staffing solutions that ensure proper alignment of resources to projects, optimize utilization and support resource development and career progression.

The Resource Management Intern will work as part of this team supporting Resource Management Business Partners and Associates in their initiatives with our various client service delivery segments.

Key Position Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Intake and coordinate project staffing for client engagements by understanding staffing requirements, searching for candidates, and aligning resources
  • Assist with the data management in the resource management planning tool
  • Prepare and distribute regular practice-level reporting and utilization analyses
  • Collect and analyze RM metrics and provide recommendations based on findings
  • Assist with technology requirements, design, testing and implementation efforts
  • Prepare change management and communication plans in support of enterprise-wide change initiatives that support the resource management activity being undertaken by the enterprise
  • Coordinate large-scale recruitment and placement efforts, as required
  • Maintain appropriate level of confidentiality on employment matters, compensation, and performance history of staff
  • Any other duties requested by the Resource Management team to support overall function

  • Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization and proven ability to make sound recommendations
  • Communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels.
  • General knowledge of some of HR functional areas to include benefits, performance management, compensation, staffing, training, and employee relations
  • Strong excel skills and the ability to manage large sets of data with the ability to effectively summarize and present findings in both written and verbal form is preferred.

  • Minimum Degree Status Required: Graduating with an undergraduate or advanced degree between Winter 2023 and Summer 2024
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the country

What Would Be Nice To Have

  • Degree/Majors Preferred: business related field
  • Current GPA of 3.2 or higher
  • Previous experience in talent acquisition or resourcing/staffing

The annual salary range for this position is $39,100.00-$70,400.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
