The Accounting Intern’s responsibilities will be related to a wide variety of functions from Accounts Receivable to Accounts Payable and will be hybrid where you can work from home and come into our award-winning new state of the art offices featured in AustinHomeMag.com!

In This Role

• Process payments on balances due
• Initiate wire/ACH payments
• Monitor corporate credit card activity
• Update and analyze customer accounts to optimize the customer experience
• Send invoices/statements to customers
• Data entry, scanning, and filing
• Assist A/R and A/P Specialists with other duties as needed
• Contact customers regarding past-due balances
• Uphold our Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands team
• Other duties as assigned by Management

The Ideal Person

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles preferred
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Attention to detail, thorough, and well organized
• Good time management skills, especially the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Able to take initiative and ownership of assigned work projects
• Proficiency in computer and email skills
