The Black & Veatch Summer Internship Program is designed to provide the following to students:

Key Responsibilities
- To demonstrate leadership and adaptability, with the willingness to take ownership of tasks or projects
- Develop project plans with the intention of delivering requires such as resources, timing/milestones, and risks
- The ability to achieve goals and success across functionalities
- Drive to overcome the most challenging obstacles and look for ways to improve results
Learning Opportunities:
- Assist with Monthly Phishing Campaigns
- Assist with Phishing tickets and security incident tickets
- Assist with threat intelligence gathering from security vendors and dark web for security operations and awareness
- Research and evaluate security tools. Provide detail features of security tools and services.
- Assist with ServiceNow Security Projects & Tasks updates
- Assist with Cyber Policies & Standards updates and documentation
- Assist with InfoSec Intranet development and upkeep of content

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors in Cybersecurity, Cyber Assurance, Computer Science or Information Technology is preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Analytical skills
- Communications skills, both written and oral
- Initiative, self-starter, highly motivated
Minimum Qualifications
Current enrollment in Information Technology or related degree program. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Certifications
Certifications such as Security+ and GIAC are preferred
