Responsibilities
Enterprise Holdings has a varied and complex mix of systems and databases all interacting with each other. These systems deliver business capabilities that are consumed by multiple internal and external clients. Rental Operations owns several of these solutions to accommodate rentals of vehicles for our customers. Software Analysts on the team will have the opportunity to analyze, identify issues, document, and provide options for the Rental Operations client teams, assist in creating cross-cutting solutions, and interact with a wide range of service domains and clients. Areas of responsibility
- Participates as an active member of a fast-paced build team and uses basic knowledge to assist with resolving moderately complex issues, contribute to team goals, and collaborate with team and department.
- Evaluates business requests to determine feasibility, identify options, and recommend solutions for software.
- Assists with interpreting customer requirements into conceptual and logical design specifications.
- Assist with the coordination of requirements gathering.
- Reviews design specifications to validate requirements have been met.
- Recommends changes to meet requirements; works development team for best approach.
- Assists with identifying the root cause and conducting the initial investigation of problems.
- Troubleshoots basic application issues to ensure the proper functioning of components.
- Documents application functionality within the system with clear, concise, and accurate information.
- Research software fixes and enhancements. Follows process through development and testing changes.
- Assists with task automation and process improvements.
- Reviews database structures and analyzes code to verify requirements, confirm functionality and investigate problems.
- Assists with maintaining established service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality standards.

Qualifications
Required
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities.
- The IT Software Analyst position requires 2 or more years of related experience
- Professional experience gathering and documenting requirements from users and/or stakeholders
- Professional experience communicating information between engineers and business stakeholders
- Must demonstrate strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and customer focus.
- Must be a motivated self-starter with good desktop technology skills.
- Must be creative and innovative.
- Must have the ability to adapt to work environment and surroundings.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have the ability to communicate with various business and IT teams effectively.
- Must have the ability to identify potential problems and solve issues.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodology.
- Knowledge of TDD (Test Driven Development) and DDD (Domain Driven Design)
- Knowledge of API’s and Postman
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Knowledge of Atlassian development tools such as Jira, Confluence, and BitBucket.
- Knowledge of Automated testing tools
- Knowledge of Jenkins Deployment tools.
