About Our Opportunity

The Accounting Assistant joins our Australian Unity Trustee business that sits within our Wealth & Capital Markets platform. Australian Unity Trustees is a licensed trustee company providing services and solutions across financial management, estate planning, estate administration, trust establishment and management and philanthropy.

This is a key role in our team responsible for contributing to the successful client centric management of Taxation Services at Australian Unity Trustees. This role will be responsible for assisting the Tax team with the provision of administrative services, data entry and the operation of the front of the ACT office.

What You Will Do

• Support the Tax team with the provision of data entry and other administrative services
• Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to deliver successful client outcomes
• Maintain up to date and accurate client records, updating all client information received in a timely, accurate manner
• Assist with the archival of files and entry of data into systems
• Develop positive relationships with different areas of the Trustees business
• Represent the business in a professional manner in liaising with clients
• Work with Business Improvement Manager to enhance existing processes and materials

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor of Business, Commerce, Finance or equivalent, coupled with a knowledge of basic financial concepts
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience would be highly regarded
• MS Office Professional Suite of Software
• Strong communication skills
• High attention to detail with an a bility to work to deadline and manage multiple priorities
