Summary This position is located in the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, Quality Management Department, Training Division, Washington, DC Metropolitan area only. Responsibilities The candidate for this position will: Provide administrative support such as conducting basic research and analyzing data. Assist with recording and transcribing meeting minutes. Use computer software to develop reports and track information. Perform other duties as assigned. _______________________ Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: In order to be considered qualified for this position you must meet one of the following qualification requirements (education, experience, or a combination of education and experience). If you are graduating at the end of the semester and not continuing your education, you are not eligible for the position. EDUCATION: In order to qualify for this position based on your education you must have 4 years of education above high school. EXPERIENCE: In order to qualify for this position based on your experience, you must have at least one-year of specialized experience at the GS-04 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level in the private sector which demonstrates knowledge of basic office research and analytical skills. Examples include: providing assistance with projects that involve collecting and recording data, transcribing meeting minutes, and using software programs to track data, or assisting with data reports. COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent combinations of the education and experience above may be combined to meet the total qualification requirements. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT(S): In order to be considered and remain eligible for this position you must meet all of the following Pathways Program requirements as indicated by your transcript and/or proof of enrollment. If you are graduating at the end of the semester, you are not eligible for this position. GPA requirement: Undergraduate students must have a semester and cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher. Graduate students must have a semester and cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. (Note: if your school uses an alternate grading system, you must submit proof of the grading system with your application or your application will not be considered). Academic Standing Requirement: You must be (and remain) in good academic standing i.e., (you must not be on academic probation). Enrollment Requirement: You must be and remain enrolled at least half-time. Work Schedule Requirement: You must be available to work at least 20 hours per week and full-time during the summer and holidays. Additional Information About the Pathways Program: If this is your first semester, you must submit your acceptance letter and proof of class enrollment from an accredited institution. Failure to send these documents will result in your name being removed from consideration for this position. All qualifications and eligibility requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
