Join AppleCare Digital as a key member of the AppleCare Digital Business Insights team. As the manager of the Social Analytics team, you will lead a team of Social analysts that are responsible to design, develop and identify social analytics solutions for supporting the AppleCare digital teams, readiness & response teams, engineering and marketing teams.

The job is located in Bangalore, India

Key Qualifications

Ability to build and operate a social analytics COE team to deliver social insights at scale using the latest data architecture & re-usable analytics by partnering with the machine leaning team.

Experience in working on analytical solutions that monitor emerging / trending / viral topics across short form and long form social media channels

Exposure to third-party tools like Sprinklr, Talkwalker, Brandwatch, etc.

Exposure to the concepts of NLP in machine learning and how it is used in the field of Social media analytics.

Good understanding of the social channel ecosystem like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit , tech forums etc.

In depth understanding of social metrics like post reach, potential reach, emerging trends, virality rate, KOLs etc.

Good knowledge of SQL & Tableau, and the willingness to learn additional tools/platforms (when required)

Proficiency in synthesizing sophisticated analysis into simple, meaningful and measurable insights.

Ability to be effective in virtual team leadership, and leading through influence.

Experience building, motivating, developing and encouraging a team.

Consistent track record of initiating and leading cross-functional and cross-organizational projects, building relationships with partners, and influencing decision makers.

Ability to grow people in their career, creating an inclusive and collaborative environment

Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Outstanding ability to solve problems, develop creative solutions, and demonstrate resourcefulness, while maintaining utmost attention to detail.

Description

AppleCare Digital monitors tremendous amount of social media data across multiple social platforms , and we have just begun the exploration in the areas of Social Media Analytics vis-a-vis sentiment analysis, contextual data mining and social insights.

We are seeking an experienced senior professional to lead and manage a team that would build social analytics solutions partnering with the machine learning teams, for the readiness & response team, marcom and other digital business managers. The role requires both a broad knowledge of social data, social media platforms and data tools.

This individual should be highly proficient with social analytics, understanding of machine learning concepts to build scalable social analytics solutions and delivering the insights through actionable dashboards. This individual should be good at turning data discoveries into analytical insights that drive business and customer outcomes.

The individual should have a strong business demeanour and outstanding technical skills, while possessing the ability to condense sophisticated analysis and social analytics concepts into clear and concise takeaways for business leaders.

Education & Experience

MBA in Digital marketing or Business analytics or B.Tech/M.Tech/M.S. in related field with 12+ years experience in the analytics space and a minimum of 5 years of experience in social.

Additional Requirements

12+ years of experience in the Marketing Science & analytics space.

5+ years of experience in the social analytics space

3+ years of people management experience.
