Team:
We are part of a database deployment infrastructure team of approximately 45 people. We work in smaller agile groups. Our group is leading the way to transform database infrastructure into infrastructure as a code in Google Cloud Platform. We are developing and supporting deployment into Google Cloud from the current on premises infrastructure. We are implementing solutions in GCP that have never been implemented before.
Job Responsibilities
- Contribute to database Cloud Deployments in GCP
- Security reporting and analysis
- Work with analytics tools (Looker/Qlikview) to create new dashboards
- Solid presentation and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Programming/Scripting languages; Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible etc.
- Familiar with Cloud technologies
- Knowledge of git code versioning subsystem
- Some hands-on experience with Database technologies
- Exposure to Cyber Security Tools
Nice to have:
- Experience with analytics tools such as Qlikview, Tableau, Looker
- Interested in Infrastructure as a code paradigm: Terraform or CloudFormation
- Familiar with CI CD pipelines: We use Jenkins
- Knowledge of containers and Kubernetes
