Internship -Cloud Security – Summer 2023

As an intern on the ScienceCloud Security Team within BIOVIA, Dassault Systemes, you will work to keep our customers data confidentail and available. As a member of the Security Team, you will work with the Security Manager in enforcing policies, processes, and procedures in support of the ScienceCloud ISO 27001 ISMS Scope. You will also conduct penetration testing, vulnerability management, and intrusion detection for all ScienceCloud applications and environments.

This is a paid internship available with a flexible summer (2023) start date and duration. You will be working in the Dassault Systèmes Durham NC office.

The Security Operations (SecOps) Engineer will join the ScienceCloud Security and Operation Team to help provide Security and SecOps for ScienceCloud SaaS Cloud Environments. You will be working along side Cloud and Application developers, Cloud Operations experts and within our exisitng Cloud Security team.

You wil be involved in day to day security operations as well as projects automating many common security activities with the goal of continuing to keep our customers data confidentail and available.

Today’s Cloud Security environment is changing quickly, it’s a new and exciting professional field, join our team and help us define what a sucessful Cloud Security team looks like!

Pursuing a B.S/M.S in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical degree.

Experience with coding or scripting.

Bonus points for knowledge of Cloud technologies like Ansible, AWS CloudFront, Rapid7, SumoLogic/CloudWatch, etc.

First and foremost a passion for Cloud Security, and the abitlity to work closely with a team sometimes in a high pressure environment.

We must at all times behave as a unified team so your ability to contribute harmounously to the teams work and culture is as important as your technical skills.
