Photo Studio Intern

This position will work in every stage of the photo shoot. From prep for the photo shoot, to the actual photo shoot days, as well as post photo shoot cleaning, sorting, rehanging, and cataloging. Candidates must be flexible with their schedule; some days will be longer/shorter than 8 hours. But we all work together to get it done! This position may also work weekends and holidays dependent on need for the line book.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION(S):

• This position will work collaboratively with all members of the Creative and Marketing Teams
• The intern will prepare product for the photo shoot, to include assisting with labeling, styling, steaming, folding, and recording product for inventory purposes
• The intern will assist in all facets of the preparation of the Line Book, Catalogue or Web photo shoots
• The intern may perform editing for the images and work with the photographer to ensure quality edited images in a timely manner
• The intern may assist with scheduling
• The intern may coordinate products, samples and information through all phases of the photo studio process

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be enrolled in an accredited institution for Fashion, Retail or Design
• Must be utilizing this internship for school credit
• Should have excellent and effectual communication skills
• Should possess strong attention to detail
• Should be comfortable with forward thinking and should possess problem-solving skills
• Should be very familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook
• May need familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
