Project Manager

The PS24 Project Manager will owns the implementation process for installing our PS24 solutions at customer site managing the project, supporting the installation as well as training the customer on their new devices and gather the acceptance of the delivery. He will also contribute to the PS24 service support. This is a customer facing position role.

She/he will play a key role ensuring customer satisfaction as well as revenue delivery for the company.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact between Omnicell and the customer on all things related to PS24 installation
  • Drive customer satisfaction and process productivity during the installation process
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve issues, which might affect customer satisfaction and Omnicell operational targets
  • Work cross functionally with sales, delivery, services & solution teams while owning the project management and implementation process
  • Creation of project implementation timeline with collaboration between customer, Omnicell, and contract resources.
  • Regular tracking and communication of implementation progress, tracking of equipment delivery, installation, and testing, tracking and assignment of project deliverables with owners and timing for completion.
  • Provide regular communications including project kick-off, regular status updates, and project closure including occasional customer site visits, and lead implementation team during clinical GoLive of the equipment.
  • Ensure correct staging of PS24 ahead of customer delivery
  • Provide customer training on PS24 and other Omnicell products
  • Maintain accurate project milestone date accuracy creating visible and predictable data for key business metrics and revenue forecasting.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives.
  • Support customer with PS24 issues (troubleshooting, resolution, escalation to service teams)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently managing multiple projects and competing priorities to meet scheduled completion dates and customer expectations.
  • Ability to work with and influence fellow team members to achieve mutual goals.
  • Willingness to travel including overnight stays >50% of the time.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

Desired Characteristics

  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues in a customer-friendly manner.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience working in a clinical environment.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback to installation teams and contractors.
  • Knowledge or experience within the healthcare industry
  • Proficient in project Management Software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheets, etc.).
