The position is to be filled as soon as possible with an unlimited contract duration. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany.

As Executive Assistant to the Chair of the Board, you will provide organizational support to the President of Welthungerhilfe and thus make an important contribution to the success of the organization. Your main task will be to prepare, coordinate and supervise the content of appointments, such as press conferences, committee meetings or other public appearances.

Your responsibilities

• Coordination of content-related and organizational preparation of appointments and contributions of Welthungerhilfe’s President incl. all travels
• Structured preparation and follow-up of Presidium meetings and various other committee meetings (incl. preparation of minutes)
• External correspondence of the President (letters with ministries, Office of the Federal President, donors, etc.)
• Coordination and writing of contributions for newsletters for various committees
• Writing speeches, panel- and technical contributions for the President
• Close cooperation and coordination of content with other Welthungerhilfe Units
• Content familiarization with and focus on a broad range of topics

Your profile

• A university or polytechnic degree in a relevant field
• Work experience in a similar position, ideally within an international (aid) organization
• Strong MS Office skills
• Coordination and organizational skills, also under high work pressure
• Willingness to implement organizational requirements for the President and the Board in a very flexible and straightforward manner
• Convincing and winning appearance, with the ability to represent
• Excellent spoken and written German and English language skills
