The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7.
The Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) is a department within UCL and part of The Bartlett faculty, known internationally for its radical thinking about space, design and sustainability. We are looking for an experienced Institute Administrator to join and support our growing team. The post holder will provide comprehensive HR and Operations support and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including staff and students, hiring managers, UCL Central HR team, HR Business partner and external Institutions. The post holder will have responsibility for line managing 2 staff members of the Operations Team.
The post is available immediately and is open-ended.
The ideal candidate will have administrative and/or management experience within a Higher Education sector with an emphasis on knowledge of HR and Finance processes and procedures. They will have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to be discrete and maintain confidentiality as appropriate. A strong systems knowledge including experience of using HR and Finance systems (such as Oracle, MyHr) and proficiency in MS Office is essential. Experience of Line Management would be beneficial.
