TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 52 weeks

CLASSIFICATION: ESP, Band S

ANNUAL SALARY: $16.00 per hour

FLSA STATUS: Hourly/Non-Exempt

HOURS: Part-time, 0-27 hours per week depending on need as determined by the College

JOB SUMMARY: The Simulation Lab Support position provides lab assistance in support of simulation education for the health sciences programs.

Responsibilities
Support simulation operations during training exercises using simulation technology to create a real- world health care situation for student practice.
Monitor need for routine maintenance and ordering of supplies for the manikins and simulation software.
Setup and stock lab for simulation scenarios.
Provide assistance to ensure labs are clean, safe, and organized.
Elevate issues of concern relating to simulation/lab to Simulation Operational Coordinator.
Assist with the portrayal of realistic patient scenarios as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: This position reports to the Dean of Health Sciences and Director of Nursing.

SUPERVISION GIVEN: None

Minimum Qualifications
Associates degree in related healthcare field and/or medical certification with one-year experience required. Knowledge of working with technology and software programs required. Simulation training experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
