Department And Role Description

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for setting and executing the Salesforce Public Sector business development strategy for Healthcare across the EMEA Central region (UK, Ireland, DACH). The ideal candidate will have senior Government Healthcare experience and the ability to foster relationships with senior Public Sector officials, IT outsourcers, as well key partners that support the Government mission.

The successful candidate will also have experience in leading Government initiatives that improve outcomes in the delivery of care and an understanding of future transformation efforts across key Healthcare initiatives. In doing so help create the opportunity for organisations to work with Salesforce to transform their delivery of care and to operate as a catalyst for modernisation.

Responsibilities

  • Set and execute customer acquisition strategies for leading transformation programmes in Government Healthcare, identifying demand and operating as an advocate for the capabilities & proven track record of Salesforce
  • Foster relationships at senior Government levels using current network and expanding it
  • Align with the Regional Sales Leadership, Industry Leads, Strategic Account Executives and Solution Engineers to develop a clear vision and transformation roadmap for our customers
  • Support the nurture and advancement of opportunities working alongside the account teams & solution delivery partners through to contract award and successful programme delivery
  • Provide detailed business development strategy focused on the top government executives and transformation areas where Salesforce can bring tremendous value
  • Help develop the Healthcare go to market strategy, associated narrative and point of view for where & how Salesforce can support the transformation of patient care
  • Interface with the product development and marketing organisations to help guide Public Sector product direction and production of sales plays for any country specific needs
  • Participate in appropriate Government Forums or Associations providing briefings where required to raise market awareness

Required Skills:

  • Extensive years of senior experience in Public Sector Healthcare or associated Systems Integrator with relevant domain and delivery expertise
  • Proven track record and success with transformation initiatives within Public Sector Healthcare with a deep understanding of Government Cloud Transformation enablers and drivers
  • Passionate about improving patient care, delivery outcomes and leveraging modern cloud technologies to enable transformational change.
  • Strong external networking and internal collaboration skills
  • Proven track record of leading highly successful teams and organisations.
  • A compelling communicator, both written for articulation of business cases & points of view and verbal for internal & external stakeholder presentations

Additional Skills/Experience:

  • Strong track record of tailoring focused capture plan objectives, strategies and tactics in conjunction with quantifying and qualifying opportunities
  • Comfortable interfacing directly with customer decision-makers to shape market opportunities
  • Proven experience gaining access to decision makers and establishing strategic relationships and successes for long term partnerships
  • Proven track record of building satisfied, loyal and referenceable customers
  • Strong operational and analytical abilities
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with leaders in the public sector space and within industry and be known as a professional resource to the industry
