Internal Communications Specialist

This Is What You Will Do

The Internal Communications Specialist, working as part of the Internal Communications team, will contribute to the development of employee communications including messages, videos, digital signage and images.

You Will Be Responsible For
Collaborate with team members to produce and post content to a variety of internal communications channels, including intranet, internal social media, PowerPoint decks, videos, images, etc.
Manage/set up/plan content for digital signage across Alexion sites
Manage internal communications asset libraries including comms toolkits and best practices and video and image assets
Serve a communications business partner to Alexion teams and sites, particularly those in our International region

You Will Need To Have
2+ years’ experience in communications or related role
Strong editing and proofing skills. Strong attention to detail
Solid organizational and project management skills. Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
Based at an Alexion European hub – Barcelona, Spain or College Park, Ireland
Background in Microsoft suite of products, specifically Word and PowerPoint
BA/BS or similar educational attainment.
The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. As is typical of an office-based role, employees must be able, with or without an accommodation to: use a computer; engage in communications via phone, video, and electronic messaging; engage in problem solving and non-linear thought, analysis, and dialogue; collaborate with others; maintain general availability during standard business hours.

We Would Prefer For You To Have

Experience with light video editing and/or experiencing with visual/video storytelling
