What It’s About
Our Program & Business Manager provides operational excellence, strategic analysis, program management support, and functions as a chief of staff for an industry specific vertical within our global private equity department to optimize investment and operational activity.
Work in effective coordination with the private equity COO on overall operational and strategic initiatives that optimize and scale our global private equity department, while directly supporting the Services investment vertical
Work effectively by creating partnerships within the investment team and across other cross department partners
Provide oversight, analysis and governance routines of Services investment vertical dashboards that inform the broader private equity department KPIs (e.g. thematic investing, advisors, quarterly business reviews, etc)
Drive ownership for vertical specific semi-annual Transformational Ownership Review (TOR) portfolio company review
Facilitate and own Relative Value Committee (RVC) thematic preparation, including ongoing thematic sourcing, dashboard report out, investment tracking, etc.
Support fund raising requests
Own headcount data and related actions (e.g. roster reconciliation, triggering hiring process, onboarding, identification of training needs)
Provides reliable, effective support on ad hoc projects and initiatives
Participate in ad hoc portfolio company operations related projects
Facilitates offsites for Services department
Gather, analyze and interpret data, writing reports and updating documentation
Regular travel between globally offices to build relationships, supporting strategic meetings, etc.
What We Expect
Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3-5 years of relevant working experience; or
Master’s degree in a related field with excellent grades and relevant internship experience
Proven experience in operations, finance or program management
Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases, and information systems
Good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques
