Role responsibilities
You will be responsible for the identification and verification of security vulnerabilities that could have an impact on Canon’s products or customers and identify not just a specific vulnerability but also the different types of vulnerability that could impact the different products and services. You’ll be positioned to provide the opportunity to put remediation in place before urgent input is required and to help future development of products.

What we ask
- You’ll create a clear and comprehensive road map of the security features and risks that may impact Canon products
- You will be responsible for ensuring coding standards are implemented and effective.
- You will contribute to product development by ensuring that security trends and research unrelated to print is incorporated into roadmaps.
What We Ask
You will need
- Proven experience of IT, Information Security or IT Security in multiple sectors (government, banking & insurance, telecom, retail & manufacturing).
- Proven experience within a role in IT or Infosec architecture.
- Able to interpret global information security market and translate into Product security outcomes
- Optimally CISSP and/or CISM and/or relevant GIAC certifications
- Ideally media-trained, with experience of interpreting InfoSec market trends and translating them into Canon’s sales strategy.
